Do X-ray testing equipment require annual inspection

Release time:2024-04-03Publisher:Jeenoce

X-ray detection equipment is an image image projected by X-ray short wavelength light penetrating an object. Technicians analyze the image to determine the defect problem of the object.

Generally speaking, the voltage of X-ray detection equipment is mainly 90KV~160kV. The higher the voltage, the stronger the penetration ability of the X-ray emitted. Therefore, for products with strong penetration ability, safety testing should be carried out at regular intervals to ensure that the product will not cause physical harm to operators.

X-ray detection equipment needs to undergo safety testing before leaving the factory to ensure its safety. After entering the hands of customers, it still needs to go to the local government security department for testing and obtain a radiation safety production license before it can be handed over to enterprises for normal use.

If the equipment has obtained an exemption certificate, safety testing is not required. In addition, it needs to be tested once a year. The safety testing certificate is renewed approximately every three years, and the operator needs to undergo a medical examination every three months.

Only by strictly establishing safety protection orders and ensuring the health of workers can the level of enterprise management be better improved.
