Various adhesives, liquids, oils, etc., including silicone, EMI conductive adhesive, UV adhesive, AB adhesive, quick drying adhesive, epoxy adhesive, sealant, hot glue, lubricating grease, silver adhesive, red adhesive, solder paste, heat dissipation paste, solder paste, transparent paint, screw fixing agent, etc.

Before purchasing a glue dispenser, two things need to be clarified:

1. Basic characteristics of the adhesive used:

a) What kind of glue is it? Single component or two component (AB adhesive)

a) If it is a two-component, what is the weight ratio of AB adhesive

b) What is the viscosity and density of glue?

c) How long does the glue start to solidify? Complete curing time?

d) How to package glue

2. The requirements that need to be met in the gluing process

a) What are the precision requirements for dispensing? How much glue is used for each product?

b) Is glue used for sealing? Adhesive? Insulation? Moisture proof? Drops?

c) How to implement the glue filling operation?

1. Glue: Single component glue dispenser is used for regular glue, dual liquid glue dispenser is used for AB glue, PU glue dispenser is used for PU glue, and specific syringe is used for UV glue.

2. Gluing process: For ordinary gluing, semi-automatic gluing machines (such as foot pedal control) are used, while for precise positioning and marking, desktop, three-axis, circle drawing and other automated gluing machines are used. The automation function of the dispensing machine is actually an auxiliary function. The dispensing machine plays a more important role in controlling the glue, and other functions can be achieved through the use of an automated robotic arm.

3. Work efficiency and environment: fewer products, not pursuing efficiency, using manual glue guns; For outdoor work, use a glue gun. Require precise control of the competition and use of machines. If automated dispensing is required, use machines with automated functions.

4. Cost: There are various gluing solutions, and not all gluing requires the use of machines, nor do all automated dispensing systems have to be attached to the gluing machine. From a cost perspective, if a certain adhesive requires a machine that is too expensive, it can be considered to replace the adhesive. If the price of an automated dispensing machine is too high, consider moving the product instead of the dispensing head.

The most common problem encountered by glue dispensers is valve problems. The following are effective methods to solve the problems that often occur when using glue valves.

1. Leakage of the rubber valve

This situation often occurs after the glue valve is closed

95% of this situation is caused by the use of a needle with a too small diameter

A needle that is too small can affect the flow of liquid and cause back pressure, resulting in dripping shortly after the rubber valve is closed A too small needle can also affect the exhaust bubble action of the rubber valve when it starts to be used. Simply replacing the larger needle can solve this problem

The conical oblique needle produces the least back pressure and the smoothest liquid flow

After the glue valve is closed, the air inside the liquid will cause dripping. It is best to remove the air in the liquid in advance, or use glue that is not easily prone to bubbles. Alternatively, centrifuge and defoaming the glue before use

2. Inconsistent adhesive size

When the adhesive is inconsistent, it is mainly caused by the unstable pressure of the pressure cylinder or air that stores the fluid

The intake pressure regulator should be set 10 to 15 psi lower than the minimum pressure in the factory The pressure used in the pressure cylinder should be between the middle and above of the pressure gauge, and the use of pressure between the low pressure part of the pressure gauge should be avoided

The control pressure of the glue valve should be at least 60psi or above to ensure stable glue output

Finally, the adhesive release time should be checked. If it is less than 15/1000 seconds, it will cause unstable adhesive release The longer the dispensing time, the more stable the dispensing becomes

3. The flow rate is too slow

If the flow rate is too slow, the pipeline should be changed from 1/4 "to 3/8"

If the pipeline is not needed, it should be as short as possible

4. Bubbles inside the fluid

Excessive fluid pressure combined with too short valve opening time may allow air to seep into the liquid The solution is to reduce fluid pressure and use a conical oblique needle

5. Instant glue (quick drying glue) is blocked on the joint and pipeline of the glue valve

This situation is mainly due to excessive moisture or reused instant glue Ensure the use of fresh instant glue Thoroughly clean the pipeline with Aceton acetone free of moisture The air used should be determined to be dry and a filter should be installed between the air pressure and the rubber valve system in the factory (If the above methods are still ineffective, nitrogen should be used.)

6. UV adhesive (UV cured adhesive)

Confirm the use of black pipes

Do not directly add UV glue to the old UV glue of the pressure cylinder First, release the original UV glue, and then pour the UV glue into the empty pressure cylinder The UV glue inside the pressure cylinder often produces bubbles after a period of time, resulting in unstable dispensing

7. Needle

Generally speaking, needles smaller than size 20 may cause air problems such as dripping or sagging. It is recommended to use larger general metal needles or tapered slanted needles Avoid using flexible or Teflon needles

8. Cleaning of epoxy resin

If possible, try to clean each shift automatically with a storage pressure cylinder of regular toluene solvent, and the more frequent the cleaning, the better

In response to the problems that are prone to occur in the eight major glue dispensing machines mentioned above, the following solutions are adopted

1. The problem of glue valve leakage is solved by using a suction back control method and a double protection glue valve to ensure no glue leakage.

2. The problem of inconsistent adhesive size is caused by the use of imported gear motors with high precision, combined with high-quality and high-precision electronic flow meters for medical devices to control the flow rate of adhesive B.

3. The conventional mixing method is static mixing, which can easily produce bubbles, slow flow rate, and uneven mixing. The glue dispenser adopts an imported brushless motor dynamic mixing function, adopts active mixing, and uniformly mixes the glue at high speed, with a speed of up to 3600 revolutions per minute,

4. The problem of easily clogging the gun head is fundamentally solved by using dynamic mixing and automatic cleaning of the mixing tube function.

1. The internal heat dissipation system of the machine is not very good
