Fixture chapter


Key points of fixture production:


1. The total height of the fixture is 37mm (to the bottom of PCB).


2. The fixture shall be made in accordance with the position and size of the machine (except for the bottom plate of the standard fixture of the company).


3. If the surrounding of the lower dust collecting fixture can be sealed; The dust collection effect is better.


4. The fixture is made to cut each small PCB; It is the standard that the fixture will not shake left and right.


5. When using the upper dust collector, consider whether the PCB will be sucked up during cutting when making the fixture.


6. When using the lower dust collector, the dust collecting effect shall be considered in the manufacture of fixture.


Universal fixture


1. Universal fixture standard type


Fabrication method: fix the holes and edges of PCB supported by standard base plate and pin.


Application: suitable for large PCB. (notebook, mobile phone, etc.)


Advantages: easy to make, easy to adjust, and the fixture can be reused when the model is eliminated.


Disadvantages: small board and multi connected board are difficult to make.


2. Special type of universal fixture


Manufacturing method: the same as the standard type, but the pin size


Machining to a position more suitable for PCB


Hole or add some auxiliary position blocks, etc.


Use occasion: small PCB or when the cutting accuracy is required to be high.


Advantages: it is the same as the standard type and can obtain better cutting accuracy.


Disadvantages: the production is time-consuming and requires auxiliary tools.


Special fixture


Special fixture top tip type


Manufacturing method: drill holes on the bakelite board and punch holes or edges of pin support PCB.


When using the pin, it will interfere with each other very little.


Advantages: suitable for small board with double-sided parts.


Disadvantages: when the PCB size changes, the fixture may not be used.


Special fixture mould


Manufacturing method: use CNC milling machine to process the edge supporting PCB.


Application: suitable for multi connected board, long strip or matrix PCB.


Advantages: it is suitable for multi connected plate with parts on one side, and better cutting accuracy can be obtained.


Disadvantages: same as top and tip type; When there are parts on both sides of PCB, it is very troublesome to make.
